Bubble - Integrations and Plugins

Purpose and Scope

This SOP outlines the process for adding specific integrations and plugins to Bubble projects at LowCode Agency. It focuses on the Page Printer and SignNow plugins, which enhance printing capabilities and enable in-app signatures respectively.

Definitions

  • Bubble: A no-code platform used for building web applications.
  • Plugin: An add-on that extends the functionality of Bubble applications.
  • Page Printer: A free plugin for enabling printing functionality in Bubble apps.
  • SignNow: A free plugin for adding in-app signature capabilities to Bubble apps.

Responsibilities

  • Developers: Responsible for adding and configuring the plugins in Bubble projects.
  • Project Managers: Ensure that the required plugins are added to projects when necessary.

Requirements

  • Access to the Bubble editor for the project
  • Admin permissions to add plugins to the Bubble project

Procedure

Adding Page Printer Plugin

  1. Log in to the Bubble editor for your project.
  2. Navigate to the "Plugins" section in the Bubble editor.
  3. Search for "Page Printer" in the plugin marketplace.
  4. Click on the "Page Printer" plugin.
  5. Click "Install" to add the plugin to your project.
  6. Configure the plugin settings as needed for your specific project requirements.

Adding SignNow Plugin

  1. Log in to the Bubble editor for your project.
  2. Navigate to the "Plugins" section in the Bubble editor.
  3. Search for "SignNow" in the plugin marketplace.
  4. Click on the "SignNow" plugin.
  5. Click "Install" to add the plugin to your project.
  6. Configure the plugin settings as needed for your specific project requirements.

Exceptions and Special Scenarios

  • If a plugin is not appearing in the marketplace, check if there are any region-specific restrictions.
  • Some projects may require additional configuration for these plugins. Consult the plugin documentation for advanced setup.
