Time Tracking
Purpose
As a fully remote company, accountability is essential to our success. That's why all team members involved in production—PMs, Business Analysts, Designers, Developers, and QA professionals—are required to track their hours.
Here's why this matters:
Budget accuracy: We use tracked hours to calculate precise project budgets, enabling better financial decision-making
Pricing validation: Hour tracking helps us verify that our estimates and pricing models align with actual effort required
Team accountability: Transparent time tracking ensures everyone stays committed to project timelines and deliverables
This system helps us maintain the high standards and reliability our clients expect while supporting our team's professional growth through better project planning.

Where to track your hours? In Plutio, always
Key questions you may have (FAQs)
1. Where should I track, for example, time spent in meetings? There is a task on every Calls and Timeline Board called Internal Meetings, you can track yourself in the Dev Meetings task or the Design Meetings task, or add a new task if you feel it is necessary under the Internal Calls Column.
2. What about the time we have for lunch? You don't need to track your lunch time, make sure to stop your timer when going to lunch and starting it again once you're back
3. Where should I track when generating documentation for LowCode or doing stuff unrelated to a project? You shoud track yourself the LowCode project in Plutio.
4. Where should I track when Im supporting other projects as a Tech Lead or a Head? You shoud track yourself in the corresponding project not in the LowCode project. LowCode project should only be used for tracking when working on internal stuff, not projects.
Important things to keep in mind for this process
Make sure to STOP your timers ALWAYS, never pause them, else the tracked hours won't go through to your dashboard. Your logged hours should be added in the LCA dashboard to your invoice on their corresponding month (but only STOPPED timers are taken into account for the automation). ⚠️ Your logged hours should be at least 85% of the total billable weekly hours. Your payment request will not be accepted unless the above is true.
