Where to give Feedback? - Leaders

Purpose and Scope

This SOP defines the process for providing, recording, and tracking feedback within the team. The goal is to promote a feedback culture by ensuring that feedback is shared, logged, and accessible for continuous improvement.

Definitions

  • Feedback: Constructive input provided regarding team members' or project performance.

  • DM (Direct Message): Private communication between individuals.

  • PMs Channel: The designated channel where feedback is logged for visibility by Project Managers.

  • Feedback Survey: The formal survey system created by Jesús to record feedback details.

Procedure

  1. Provide Feedback

    • Feedback must initially be given directly via Direct Message (DM) to the individual concerned.

  2. Complete the Feedback Survey

    • After sharing feedback via DM, the feedback giver must complete the feedback survey created by Jesús. This ensures feedback is formally recorded.

  3. Log Feedback

    • Once the survey is submitted, the feedback must be recorded/logged in the PMs channel for team visibility and tracking.

Best Practices

  • Encourage frequent feedback to support team growth: the more we practice, the more we improve.

  • Be respectful and constructive in all feedback provided.

  • Remember: creating a feedback culture starts with consistent use of this process.
