SEO Specialist

Position overview: The SEO Specialist is responsible for optimizing the company’s digital presence to drive organic traffic, improve search engine rankings, and increase visibility. This role involves performing keyword research, optimizing content for search engines, monitoring site performance, and implementing best practices to ensure the company remains competitive in search engine results.

Key Responsibilities

SEO Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and increase site visibility.
  • Perform keyword research to identify opportunities for content creation and optimization.

On-Page and Off-Page Optimization:

  • Optimize website content, metadata, and structure for search engine performance.
  • Implement link-building strategies and collaborate with content creators to ensure SEO best practices are applied.

Performance Monitoring:

  • Monitor site performance using tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Ahrefs to track traffic, rankings, and conversions.
  • Provide regular reports on SEO performance and recommend strategies for improvement.

Content Collaboration:

  • Work closely with content editors and marketing teams to ensure SEO-optimized content is produced and aligns with the company’s broader marketing objectives.

Requirements

Experience:

• 2-4 years of experience in SEO, with a proven track record of improving organic traffic and search engine rankings.

• Experience working with tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of on-page and off-page SEO practices.

• Ability to analyze data and identify trends to inform SEO strategies.

• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with content teams and presenting findings to stakeholders.

Tools:

• Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Moz.

• Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress or Webflow for on-page optimization.
