Main Message: Present the proposal as a natural continuation of refinement, not a separate step to wait for.
Key Talking Points:

  1. Leverage the Completed Refinement

    • "Now that we've finished refinement, we know your timeline and scope"

  2. Tie to Their North Star Goals

    • Goal is always to launch asap to get real user feedback for any V1, tie this to the North Start...

3. "Save Your Spot"

  • "As soon as you sign your proposal, we will start allocating the development team and resources"

  • "Sign to secure your priority" — framing signature as reservation, not just payment

4. Show Tangible Progress

  • Present the proposal alongside a few preliminary design screens (even if rough)

  • "Here's the proposal for your budget planning, and here are some screens we've already started working on"

Timing:

  • Present the proposal on the last refinement call — or even sooner

  • Position it as: "The PRD is complete → here's your roadmap and proposal → next step is your signature to kick off development"

Tone:

  • Talk more about signature than payment

  • Frame it as momentum: "This is finished, now let's keep moving"
