UX/UI Designer
Position overview: The UX/UI Designer is responsible for creating user-centered designs for low-code/no-code applications, ensuring that all projects are visually appealing, functional, and aligned with client goals. This role involves close collaboration with Project Managers, developers, and the Head of Design to deliver high-quality user experiences. The UX/UI Designer will work across various platforms, such as Glide, Bubble, and Flutterflow, adapting design practices to the specific capabilities and limitations of each tool.
Key Responsibilities
Design Execution
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications using tools like Figma and Whimsical.
- Design user interfaces that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Develop and refine low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes based on project requirements and client feedback.
- Ensure that design elements align with the capabilities of low-code/no-code platforms, working within any technical constraints.
Collaboration
- Work closely with Project Managers and developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
- Participate in project kick-off meetings, providing design insights and helping define the visual direction of the project.
- Maintain consistent communication with the development team throughout the project to ensure designs are technically feasible and delivered as intended.
- Support the Head of Design in aligning all designs with the overall creative vision of the company.
Client Interaction
- Collaborate with the Head of Design and Project Managers to present design concepts and updates to clients.
- Address client feedback and revise designs as necessary, ensuring that client needs and expectations are met.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in UX/UI design and bring fresh ideas to the team.
- Continuously improve design processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and quality in project delivery.
Requirements
Experience
- 2-3 years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably within a tech or software development environment.
- Strong portfolio showcasing web and mobile application design projects, with an emphasis on user-centric design.
Skills
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Whimsical, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of UX principles, usability, and interaction design.
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
